    I see there is a thread praising Dike, which I totally agree with. I love the guy.

    However, I also want to call out Morris. Apart from his goals, which have been more than welcome, what a performer. He has the strength to hold off players, speed to get onto through balls, tricky with the ball at his feet and the ability to finish different ways.

    What an overabundance of talent we have to choose from upfront. Also, I can't remember such a time when our bench was so strong in all departments.

    Onwards and upwards!!!

    The ball didn’t really stick to Woodrow or Frieser in the first half. I think they were too quick to loop it over the top towards Dike every time they got it, and not one came off.

    Contrast that with Morris who had the presence and touch to bring the ball down keep us on the attack. We needed that bit of guile.

    My only concern would be, if Mowatt gets injured, those are big shoes to fill.

    A little newspaper rolled up and stuffed in the toe should do the trick. It worked for me when I wore my dad's hand me downs as a nipper.

    I love Mowatt but we won today despite him being quiet ,thought he looked tired after Wednesday

    We needed some goal scorers to take us to the next level - I have been bleating on about it for months.

    Under Stendel and Struber, and playing different styles of football, if we'd had Dike and Morris up front we'd have been much better off.

    For me, Styles moves across and Williams slots in the left midfield.

    Palmer/Kane/Halme to partner him.

    That’s the thing with Morris he allows us to get up the pitch with his hold up play and like I said midweek he looks the complete striker for this level.

    I ‘m aware of the options, what I’m getting at is, unlike the regular interchanging of the front 3, I’m not as confident as such a major change in midfield would go as smoothly.

    I find it difficult to imagine that there are two players who were available in January that would have fitted into this side better than Dike and Morris. Astounding work from the club to get them both in.

    Looking like one of our best signings in recent years for me. He looks like he has it all. His hold up play at times is phenomenal. Has made an instant impact, in every game he's played for us so far. Outstanding.
