Woke up this morning feeling fine Got Barnsley FC on my mind Ismael's got us playing the way that the Barnsley should {oh yeah} Something tells me I'm into something good!
Wow! I've just this minute played that song on youtube before reading your post! I used to deliver mail to Keith Hopwood, the guitarist with the Hermits.
Surely that can't be true or is it that we are so far above them, in the clouds, up with the gods, that even their massive telescopes can't see us.
Morning Helen and everyone. The last time we woke up to 5 wins on the bounce in the Championship, was nearly 25 years ago! It's a wonderful feeling isn't it
I’ve spent the morning catching up on our blue abs white neighbours.. Reading owlstalk is hilarious... most on there are struggling to comprehend what’s happened, and are in one of these categories. 1. Chansiri out....! but who’s going to take a club heading to league one with those debts? They need to be careful what they wish for... plus it will cost a fortune to remove his name from the seats and everything they have! 2. Utter bewilderment that they are below teams like Barnsley because they have spent more, more fans, bigger stadium, etc... 3, season ticket lobbers.. the never in my life have I seen such rubbish at the massive Sheffield Wednesday. I’m never going again. 4. It’s fine, everything’s on fire, but it’s fine.... we could still make the play offs.... strangely there are still a few of these. 5. We need a new manager lot. These seem to think that they could get Jose Mouriniho, but generally don’t want him cos he isn’t English.. 6. There are a tiny minority who realise they have spent premier league prices and wages on past it league one players. These are also worried about the fact the accounts are still unpublished.
They do realise that they can't copy our model because their fans wouldn't wear it. Got me thinking, which so called "big" clubs would have fans that would wear it?
There’s a rot in there, that’s set from the roots of the fans up to the owners and board. The mindset that they are buying a finished player/team/manager, not developing them. I really think they’d need a full clear out before they could even try!
They're in deep doo doo. Even more so if they go down given the wage bill and at least, what, £6m worse off? I hope Rotherham stay up at the expense of Brum. They have, on paper, an easier run of games and games in hand. They've played well and lost by the odd goal, despite losing last 5 games, to some good opposition. Would be great to see Brum and Wednesday down and them stay up.
