Blackburn Rovers home Bristol City away Stoke City home. Just been looking into our next 3 opponents.and it appears that they all have very lengthy injury lists at a time when the games are coming thick and fast. Good time to be playing them? Without putting the mockers on it i think we have been very fortunate all season in terms of injuries and suspensions as ours is not one of the larger squads in the division.
7 points from those games would be good, we have had injuries and suspensions, but not in great numbers. Perhaps it’s down to how VI rotates his squad, and the number of subs he uses in each game.
Hope this doesn’t turn out like that week last season when we had Stoke, Luton and Wigan. You never know which Blackburn will turn up, so could be a good or bad time to play them. Bristol City could sack their manager before we play them.
Millwall as well, think the rest of this month is going to really determine if we finish top ten or lower. With Birmingham, Derby and Wednesday at home, and Wycombe away in March, a decent run over the next four and we could cement ourselves in the top half.
