What happens with him? Unfortunately he's behind two of the best wing backs we've had for a while - still think there's a decent footballer in there.

So do I and he’s a big reason we’re having this discussion as a Championship Club.

    Important squad man.

Bare in mind he had played no first team football prior to joining us.

Bit of a misunderstanding. I was talking about Oduor. You’ll need to ask LR who the two are.

Was one of the bright sparks when we were pretty lacklustre last season but after football restarted in June he lost his place in the squad and other than the Brentford goal (which he should always be remembered for) he didn’t do anything of note.

I personally think he should play further forward than wing back as defending isn’t really his strong suit, but the kid is very skilful and is always willing to take players on.

Talented player. Think expectations our side were ahead of his actual development as he came in to the side when we weren't very good, showed some real glimpses of talent, but also how much he had to learn in terms of sticking to the system, being aware of what's around him, not being as passive in his play, etc.

I'm not sure LWB is his best position. I also think he's one that would have benefitted from going out on loan but with the way we completely empty the tanks on our wing backs, and had a half fit Jordan Williams in reserve, it would have been a bad move to let him go.

Think there's a bright future - maybe not just yet.

I don't think the 3-4-3 that we play suits him. He needs to work on the defensive side of his game for me.

I'm certainly not writing him off though.

It's strange with Oduor. I only think about him when we've lost and I'm wanting Styles in the middle with Mowatt. When we're winning I don't give him a second thought. Decent the limited bit I've seen of him. I could say the same about Halme too. It's the nature of the beast and a sign we have a decent squad.

Always thought he looked a quality player but needed to work on the defensive side of his game if we’re going to play him as a wingback. He’s barely kicked a ball in anger for us this season and I can’t imagine he’d want to hang around next season if he’s only a bit part player so im 50/50 on this one but wouldn’t be shocked if he’s allowed to move on this summer.

Could be that Val will give a bit of run out once we have got over points safety threshold

Still think the squad will be tested as games come thick and fast.
Oduor and others still might have a role to play.

Don't think he has the defensive side to play LWB but pretty sure he has played CM at times for Leeds U23s and for his national side. Could be an option for us there given we don't have James anymore.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Odour start to get minutes off the bench, like Williams is now. Will need to manage Styles' workload at some point

I like him but he's enigmatic. He's got great touch and can spot a pass but he's not the best postionally and he reminds me more of street footballer. I don't really trust him in a 3-4-3 and probably needs a proper left back behind him in a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 formation and that's unlikely to happen under Val. If we look at it pragmatically - without injuries - he's argubly fourth choice in the left wing back role. He's got the potential to play in the centre but there's at least four players in front of him in that position and you could argue that Halme and Sibbick would get a game ahead of him if we were desparate. Ultimately, he needs game time and I can't see him getting any soon.

I’d be more reluctant to get rid of Odour than Luke Thomas if I’m honest.

very talented footballer and was a bright spark on a struggling team at times last season. Might even be worth looking at him in the front 3? He has got bags of potential.
