Commentary was biased towards Chelsea but the 3 lads at halftime have been full of praise. Richards has almost got his 3 foot dïck out.
That’s a great first half performance. shearer and Richards called it right. Actually based on what they saw! As always we are vulnerable to that ball over the defenders though, especially with the way we zonally mark.
Different styles of play from both sides, but it reminds me of the 2008 game. We're playing well and competing, and creating chances. You never know......
I'm not trying to be pessimistic, but I always worry in these David vs. Goliath games, when David does not take his chances. Fingers crossed for a repeat of the first half, plus a few goals from the team in red!
In fairness the commentators and pundits have praised barnsley and even said they were the better side in the 1st half. also the penalty live thought it was a good tackle. only the replay showed it was not
Chelsea don’t have a good midfield play maker. If they’d kept Ross Barkley, we could be in danger of losing this match..
I don't agree with Red Rain. If we retreated into our own half this Chelsea team would tear us apart. That we pen them in their own half gives a chance. Not saying we're going to win but we've got a chance.
