Captain deciding whether to enforce the follow on: I wouldn’t want to chase 150 on this Captain deciding when to declare: I wouldn’t want to set them less than 400
Yeah definitely, 4 sessions would be a good amount of time to get them. I’d imagine it will be just less than 4 sessions in reality by the time we get the lead we’d want.
Anything over 400 should be enough but think they'll try to get 425 lead at least if they're not all out before then and have a good 10 overs at them tonight
I hope they're a little bit more aggressive than that, but as Ali Cook said at lunch, the public sat at home don't have to put up with the consequences if it all goes wrong.
Morning all! Sorry couldn't see the start of play today, but stayed up to watch the Superbowl. Missed a load of wickets on both innings!
It's a balancing act now. As it stands, they may think the target is just about doable with a bit of poor bowling, genius batting and a massive dollop of luck. But if you bat them out of sight, they will just sit in, block and try and bat the remaining time out(which they are more than capable of doing)...
