Great Catch! Sounds like we're not going to enforce the follow on. Don't really understand that one, but that's a decision made by people that know a lot more about cricket than me!
The pitch is getting progressively worse so maybe it's the right call. For me though, Id put then back in again to allow maximum time to bowl them out.
Should be an exciting day! Reckon we'll come out like it's a T20 match and Try and get about a 400-450 lead and then declare.
Surprised they have not come out with Stokes or Buttler at 3. Give 'em a dozen or so balls each to assess the pitch and ask them to go into ODI mode. Obviously it wouldn't be easy due to the lack of fielding restrictions, but even if they started defending the boundary rather than attacking for a wicket, they could rack up 150 in 1's, 2's, and the occasional boundary quick enough. A 400 target will take the loss out of the equation on a late day 4 and 5 pitch, and it would be down to the spinners to take the 10 wickets in a day and a session.
Morning all. Something therapeutic about watching cricket at 4.30 am in the morning which swiftly dissipates when I have to leave the house at 5.20 on my way to work. At least no frost just a dusting of snow and a biting wind. Still expecting London to go into full on panic mode though
This wicket is certainly doing something, think it may have been a wise decision not to enforce the follow on. Batting 4th on here could be a minefield
