    After 4 successive defeats. Woodgate only just arrived as first team coach and now gets the top job short term.

    I think they’ll finish below half way now. Bizarre appointment!

    Wow! I'd have thought they d ask Eddie Howe back. He was chronic at Boro , had no clear plan or consistency of team selection.

    When we played Middlesbrough and Woodgate was their coach you could see that he was trying to implement a premiership style of football, problem was, he had Championship style players. I think he could do well.

    I thought he would be sacked but I didn't think they would rush to appoint. They have sold players, still have Premiership money but must have a high turnover. I thought they might have gone for Frank Lampard and Jody Morris, if they were serious about the playoffs. They may prove us all wrong but it doesn't look positive.

    They’re on the slide I reckon. Hopefully won’t be too long before their mini-me ground is populated with a faithful 5,000 following watching Third Division football again.
