    If people are thinking like that then they really can't win can they? Didn't sell a single defender and brought in Helik. Didn't sell a midfielder and brought in Matty James. Lost Jacob Brown granted, but signed our star striker to a contract extension.

    We hardly had a plethora of options when we sold Pinnock, Lindsay and Davies did we? And that's really the only window anyone can level at the owners.

    But when has it been anything else? Not disputing that just saying it isn't different to any other windows. Yet despite it being three on the bounce where we've in the main kept our best players, we're still accused of flogging anyone at the first opportunity.

    My point is we've no one worth flogging that wouldn't be to the suicidal detriment of the team. We were never going to sell Mowatt, Styles or Woodrow because the owners aren't sadists.

    But we were? Every window for the last three a combination of names have been leaving the club. That's my point, and yet here they still are.

    Doesn't make the owners saints that don't deserve criticism, but it's near on impossible for them to win if when they don't sell players and offer new contracts the argument turns to 'the squad is thin bare of course they wouldn't sell'.

    I think the club have done remarkably well in the last two or three windows ,lets hope I can still say that in about 10 hours time , however , I do think they are only ever one sale away from getting hammered by the fan base, but they are slowly but surely winning me round .
