Wouldn’t put. Dick Emery in the camp. Camp. More like Dame Edna. For me. Saw Dick Emery live. In a family summer season show. Appalling stuff. Never seen as many walk out of a show. Larry Grayson. Definitely David Williams appears camp but more a front. For his persona. Danny la Rue could be classed as camp. But very popular in a day when you’d have thought not.
was it at Great Yarmouth ,my wife always tells a tale of going to see Dick Emery and he just sat there telling boring story after boring story, lol maybe why she likes me
Tom Allen. Seems to be on pretty much everything at the moment, and (imho) is as about funny as toothache..
yes ever noticed how he just shouts back at them what they have just said, to give him time to think of something to say
Clary recently described Gavin Williamson (Education Secretary) as the sort of bloke who would proposition another bloke in the lift of a second class hotel in Ipswich !
May be showing my age here but most modern camp comedians seem to base their acts on vulgarity, Larry graysons mannerisms and delivery were class, " i was talking to my postman pop it in pete"..lol
