What an awful thing to say. So if I lose a few pounds I will get protection more from Covid? What a bizzarre statement.
What have you got against"fat" people? Why not have a go at smokers? drinkers? drug users? Do you know the circumstances of the "fat" people? The reasons they are overweight? No you don't, you just generalise and attack a section of the population who have enough negative thoughts about their body image as it is.

But we also need protection from a government that has spent years driving down wages and workers rights to the point where sick people simply cannot have time off work.

I didn't go to the gym. However, when my weight started to balloon. I started going on the treadmill it started at 30 mins, 3 times a week then an hour until it got to an hour and a half. I was getting fitter but not an inch off my waistline. Then I started suffering from gout flare ups every time I changed up my routine. I went on tablets. I suffered from planter fasciitis eventually so stopped running. All the time I was putting weight on. I cut down what I ate, also stopped drinking totally Sunday to Thursday.

I think it's due to my sedentary job if truth be known, or not exercising at the right time or rigorously enough. When I started my health kick I was thinner than I am now. Some days I try and get my steps in some days as many as 12,000 a day.

Only last year I used an exercise bike three times a week as well as my steps and still went up a trouser size. People wouldn't believe the exercise I've done without results.

If we want the economy to pick up quickly fat middle aged blokes should be first in the queue for the vaccine as they are the biggest consumers

I didnt know Troy still existed. Well if she's from there, she's not like Helen is she? She has a face that could sink a thousand ships not launch them.

As I say it seems to annoy people, for the record I was a few years back in the obese category. Now I flirt between overweight and healthy weights and I have to work hard (refrain from bad eating) to not pile it back on.
I've been on the wrong end on here for bringing this up before, and I'm not trying to start a argument so I'll leave it as this post and the last word to Ricky Gervais who is certainly a lot funnier than me.

What do you eat though? Doing loads of exercise, no matter what time of day, isn't going to help if you still eat more than you need. I'm not saying that to be mean or anything, it's just true. If you ate what I ate every day (and it involves pies and pizzas and profiteroles frequently) then you wouldn't be overweight, you just wouldn't, it would be impossible. I'm not claiming for one second that I have a great diet because I don't particularly but it's impossible to be fat on it.

My colleague is really overweight, I don't care and she doesn't care but the curious bit of my brain would love to know what she eats every day, especially because she only ever brings two small pieces of fruit for dinner. Honestly, who eats two small pieces of fruit for dinner? She must be starving (not because she's overweight just because that is not enough for 8 and a half hours at work). I do wonder what her meals must be at home though for her to maintain the weight she is, because none of my family has ever been overweight I genuinely don't know what it takes to be that size.
