    I can see the humour in it, but it probably says more about Watford’s elevated sense of importance and relevance in the football world than anything else.

    After all, I spend many an hour reflecting on my memories of Watford’s unique and legendary brand of the beautiful game, whilst they were relegated from the premier league. It’s a common subject of conversation amongst me and my friends.
