The poor sods round here who were flooded just over a year ago are going to be flooded again by the looks.

I’m on slightly higher ground thankfully and won’t ever likely flood, but it’s not looking good for everyone round here (Scawthorpe and Bentley, DN5)

Not bothered about the rain, it's the bloke called Noah hammering the wood that's annoying me;)

Not had any rain to speak of this morning in Lincoln, but the beck opposite my property may well breach if the expected downfall later today and tomorrow happens.

It's for the best as the pitch looks a state already and the rain hasn't even got heavy yet. Could be a few postponed in the next few hours.

Went out on my bike this morning one road was well flooded with an abandoned car sat in the middle and another road was only just passable (to the east of Burton on Trent). It wasn't raining at the time so this was from the overnight rain, it's just started raining now....

I worked until recently for 6-7 years at Bentley New Village Primary School. Saw this morning them posting leaflets on the high street warning folk. How the chuff does Bentley flood? Must have been walking or driving round with my eyes closed !!!!

There are a couple of small streams that run through Bentley that flow into the don they back up then flood it happened in 07 and flooded all toll bar and Bentley
There’s one at the bottom of Bentley road near the old rugby ground and one at the top of Bentley road near the park

I’ve got friends and family in Scawthorpe and Toll Bar who’ve had sandbags delivered, but we don’t appear to be getting the expected rain at all yet. Touch wood.

I’ve just seen the bbc news and the worrying prospect of more flooding in and around S Yorkshire.

Good luck everyone. Please keep safe. And hopefully things are not as bad as predicted.

Three weeks ago they forecast heavy snow for three days and we didn't have so much as a flake.

I think we had all yours on top of ours. Most snow I've seen in years and years. We've had a fair bit of rain too, I've been keeping an eye on the river levels as the 2015 Boxing Day floods are still strong in my memory.
