Would he have stopped either goal? I'm not sure we are losing the game in midfield our attack has been woeful again as it was with James in the team.
I don't think wev been out played or outfought in midfield, it's the defence that has let us down tonight. Saying that we still haven't created much. I do agree that we are weaker without James tho.
Let's not forget James was in the same barnsley side that won 3 league games in 18 under hecky and 2 of those games were against sides that were eventually relegated. The side that still had davies, yiadom, roberts, Angus, scowen, Kent, hammill, Watkins Bradshaw Armstrong. Swansea are a good side probley end up top two.
We didn't lose today cos we sent James back. Even with him on the pitch the scoreline would have been the same
Based on today's performance or when Mowatt was sent on loan to Oxford ? Maybe Kane needs a 12 months settling in period??
Love how we lose a match and obviously its because we sent James back. They have scored 2 dodgy goals today. Top it off they give Lowe man of match on sky for scoring a goal and doing nowt else. Then whoever that anchor woman was, comes out with we have been home schooled... **** off sky..
The big issue is the front 3 at the minute. Not in terms of scoring goals(although they are not exactly prolific), but more getting hold of the ball and holding it up to allow the likes of Mowatt or James to get in the mix. As it stands, players like James are wasted here as they are not involved in the play enough, as there is no "play-making" to be done. I'm saying all this as someone who thinks James is one of the classiest, most technically gifted players to wear the shirt in my 30-odd years of watching. It's just that his is a big wage to pay for someone who isn't integral to the way the gaffer wants his team to play(rightly or wrongly)...
Could it be that a poster has an issue with the club/current ownership/maybe is just negative about anything to do with bfc and is desperate to pile on after a defeat (against a team with premier league aspirations & a game we would’ve lost with James in the team anyway.)
