    After watching the Villa VS Liverpool game, I was impressed by Villa youngster Barry. I know he’s only 17 but looks like he has pace and can be a handful for defenders.

    Worth a loan attempt? Villa will want him to get game time and could be a tricky player.

    I really don’t see the point of posts like this.

    We’ve just signed a new striker that was described as our first choice. This adds to the numerous strikers we already have at the club.

    My answer is no, I do not think there would be any interest in signing a 17 year old on loan from Villa.

    Definitely one to watch, but, if he goes out on loan, it is likely to be to one of the struggling Premiership teams, such as Burnley, or West Brom, or a Championship side with good financial resources and which has reasonable confidence of getting into the play-offs, or pushing for automatic promotion. You could see him at Bristol City, Bournemouth (if Josh King leaves), or similar. Derby might try to nick him, as they seem to be after strikers at the moment and have Rooney's pulling power. Ismael says he has the players he wanted this window, so I can't see us moving for him, or even being vaguely interested.

    What ever happened to that big striker at villa Keinan davis i think it was, he played against us a few seasons ago and looked a real handful, haven,t heard of him really since...

    It is supposed to be a football forum! Just an opinion. I didn't watch the match as I don't have BT but it will be interesting to see if he makes it. So many good youngsters about nowadays.

    In the same vein SAGE, Trump, Johnson, Dan Jarvis, Jane McDonald and a whole host of similar people are not impacted by this board but it hasn’t stopped thousands of posts on a variety of subjects far more outlandish than the potential signing of a striker from Villa.

    You are right it is suppose to be a football forum , perhaps if you were to mention Brexit , Covid , Boris or Corbyn then you would receive maximum response !
