I`d have a driveway done then park my car haif way ont kerb and haif way off outside my home because that seems to be the fashion these days.
It's very similar to building an expensive double garage, then filling it with various sized cardboard boxes containing immeasurable amounts of utter junk which you won't ever need, until the day after you finally take it to the tip.
