I might stand on the hill at Canklow and look over the stand onto the pitch.

Bit of a risky place to be stood in the dark.

Class from Barnsley. But this isn’t the clubs fault, EFL have handled this poor when fans have given so much goodwill paying for behind closed doors! I’ll pay and won’t be asking for a refund! You Reds

superb stuff from the club. praise justified cos they get a disproportionate amount of stick when something goes wrong.

A magnificent gesture, something they had no responsibility or obligation to do (despite the loud protestations of some on here).

I can only applaud the club, and hope that the people who complained so much about the situation actually purchase the game now.

    Well done Barnsley FC.

No need for the ‘eventually’ dig in my view.

They were probably waiting until they were sure there was actually going to be a game, as if they’d made the offer, some of this fraternity would demand it be honoured as and when the rearranged game was played, even if a Wednesday in March.

Plus there might not actually have been anyone on the website/media side at the club to post and promote this for the last week or few days at least.

Either way there is nothing to criticise from the club here - I don’t think there ever was in the first place.

It does seem like the right thing to do - but they had no obligation to do it whatsoever in my eyes.

Whether you think they did or not, surely you can’t fault them regardless as they are doing it.

As someone who gave the club a bit of stick over this I have to say a big well done for biting the bullet and resolving it in the fans' favour. I just hope the club gets something back from the EFL/ifollow but I'm not holding my breath...
