    I'm struggling to get excited about Morris. From his goal scoring record he looks no better than what we have.

    I feel confident that having monitored him VI will know how to get the best out of him.
    You also have to ask the question, will he be more prolific with better players around him.?
    I suppose the answer is, only time and his performances will tell.

    VI hasn’t monitored him though. The club have monitored him, at best VI has been given a choice of 2 or 3, based on all previous knowledge of our business model

    I thought his comment " he is a good player with a good profile for me", must surely infer that VI has at
    least been shown video clips of him.?

    Id probably agree, Video clips are part of the scouting package presented to the head coach, However “profile” could easily be stats based.

    I am looking forward to seeing him play if this comes off. It sounds like he could be the holding forward we have wanted for some time that will allow Cauley and Connor to play off him. He also looks good in the air and has pace to beat players.

    Maybe, but I am sure VI will want to see a front three of Cauley, Conor and Carlton before Conor is cast aside, plus the front line will be known as the three C’s, possibly.....:)

    I think VI may be looking at his all round game, ie hold up play bringing people into the game, looking at the fans forums where he,s played , shrewsbury and mk dons, he seems very well thought of even the Norwich fans thought he had something about him, i know the championship is a step up but i,m ;looking forward to seeing him..
