    You can't have safety protocols for a squads of 30 odd grown men playing football with each other. It's also not essential so if things are so bad we need tier 4 then I can't see how it should carry on. It sends out the wrong message. So yes keep big Al **** but you have to stop the football too.

    This is part of what gets me so annoyed. I haven't hid my thoughts on lockdown policy in general but if we are going to do it we should do it or not do it. It very much reminds me of the Labour approach to the last election with Brexit. The government are trying the same thing now a policy that keeps everyone onside but in reality nobody on either side wants.
