He’s done brilliantly. Massive admiration & he’s matured so much since he started to campaign.
Loads of underlying issues, no coincidence that Rashford grew up through Tory austerity, economic disparity etc.. the fact that this has come to light during covid, when we might equally be confronted with reports of increasing drug/alcohol dependency & problems of child obesity. Marcus has highlighted some serious, immediate concerns, but I hope he doesn’t leave it there. Because it’s a symptom, not the problem..

But how sad he feels he has to do this in a country which likes to proclaim it cares and has the 5th biggest economy in the world.

    Well done Marcus.

he also wants all the schools open despite the evidence. I’m definitely in the camp of the real leader of the opposition

Your point was about school meals and Rashford - he did call for this at the start.

Jimmy is a closet Tory. He and his mates are working to reinforce the current hegemony ;)

I always like to see his Mum being interviewed about what Marcus is doing. It's obvious
that she sacrificed so much to give him the best start in life and yet she says how proud
she is of what he's achieved. She literally is bursting with pride.

We don't know any details regarding their living arrangements, but knowing the love and
compassion Marcus has for his fellow man, with what he's earned from football, you would
imagine he's set his Mum up for the rest of her days. A truly inspirational young man who is
    a credit to his generation.

My point was currently there is no opposition on any issue and no policy ideas have been put forward to counter the Govt narrative hence even during a pandemic the abstainer in chief trails in the polls.

Yeah after the leader of the opposition called for it Labour did try and claim the credit.

Called for it in March when schools were first closed - not much can be done when 80 seats down. Give them enough rope to hang themselves- they are doing a good job of that

Admired his persistence and calmness when Commons vote went against his proposal rewriting social policy engaging with Supermarkets Local Councils and Charities to achieve his aims.
