The ref's just blown, we've won 2-1. Some tired legs out there, hope they recover well enough for Tuesday's game. Off to bed lads, sleep well!
Hahaha good one Helen, you nearly had me then, I was believing you until you said we won at Hillsboro,
SWMBO says: A rough guide: (mix Ginger ale and cherry juice first to your taste for sweetness) then its 2 parts vodka, 3 parts sour cherry /ginger ale mix and put in cocktail shaker with lots of ice, shake well then pour into champagne flutes (minus ice obviously )and top up with chilled Prosecco. I was sceptical but it is up there with my favourites (Magna Carta, Between the Sheets, and a proper Margerita made by my missus to here simple recipe which is basically Tequila, Triple Sec and a bit of freshly squeezed lime juice , salt round the chilled glass and nothing else added. A couple of them is enough to send me..... well ......'squiffy'. still like G&T thogh either with Lime or occasionally a slice of Bergamot which adds a new dimesnion. The ginger ale balances the tartness of the sour Cherry juice (assuming she gets it right like last night), the Prosecco has to be extra dry but gives it a bit of sparkle. Not sure where you get the sour cherry juice from unless you have a morello cherry or a Visciola tree. It definitely doesn't work with sweet cherries (nor did the cherry muffins she made with them last year) but the sour ones are great for muffins (hence the leftover sour cherry juice after she made a big batch of muffins (which freeze really well BTW) HTH enjoy!! P.S need a name for the cocktail Any ideas??
At least you won't get soaked .Treat yourself and watch quest on catch up and see if de dars have scored yet
Afternoon! I tried the morning, didn’t like the look of it, and my head didn’t like the feel of it so I took my time! Just awaiting a bacon sandwich being brought upstairs by my other half. Funny that as we had pork sandwiches yesterday. Today I shall be mostly not mentioning the result but sneaking off to punch the air and 2 fingers in the general hillsborough direction. Great to have kids back home too! Merry Christmas!
I get Mr Fitzpatrick's sour cherry ,red grape and hibiscus cordial from Farmer Copleys farm shop will definitely try this recipe over Christmas.
