Liam Kitching look a decent prospect and might be worth a punt. Cue all the jokes about Kitchens, Kettles, Pots, Pans, Freezers, Knives, Cutlery, Plates etc. etc.
I’m not surprised one bit. Andersen takes a bit of stick on here but I think he’s a very good defender with a lot of potential. (This is not me talking him in to have an absolute mare today by the way!)
We could do worse than look at another FGR player with Yorkshire connections while we are at it .... Luke Young has been scoring regularly since joining from Sheffield United. Kitching certainly likes a yellow card - seven already this season, but he's naturally left-sided and that would help the balance of the back three, for sure.
I'd imagine any club would have to part with a fair bit of money to get either styles or woodrow who have just signed new deals, or at least you would hope. And for styles I'm talking really big money.
What they’re worth and what we’ll accept are two very different things though. Personally think if bids of 2 and 5 come in for Cauley and Styles, they’ll be gone.
I'll probley end up disappointed with the fee when he goes but styles is one of the best talents we have had in a long time playing out of position and still always consistently good, keep having to remind my self he is only 20.
Andersen is a good central defender in a back 4. And he's not without his qualities in 3, but for someone who has adapted to both and barely put a foot wrong we only need look to the right hand side of our back 3. So you've Jinxed Andersen and now I've Jinxed Sollbauer. Anyone want to complete the set and give either Halme or Helik some praise
We’re not helping are we?! I agree regarding Sollbauer. My back would be Sollbauer, Andersen and J Williams. We just need to get Williams fit again because he was one of our standout players in the first handful of games of this season in my opinion.
