    Conway said that “there is a lot of incompetence and corruption in football”, adding there should be more stringent penalties for rule breaking in the English game.

    I have to agree. It's time for the FA/EFL/PL to man up to this, and sort it out imho

    Chairman of English league club says there is corruption at chairman level of English league clubs.

    Do all the sides they own (not necessarily paid for) play the same system and style? I suspect not.

    Will a no deal brexit allow easy movement of non British players? It doesn't look like it.

    I wouldn't be too surprised if they sold us and looked to buy more clubs in the EU to allow easier trading.

    He loves speaking to national media to get his face and name out there to the masses. I cannot remember the last time he spoke through the clubs official channels.

    Tbf he’s got a point, the EFL never seem serious about following up on it though.

    Just thinking aloud here, if say Apple had Offices in America and UK, could an Apple employee be taken on in America and then be transferred to UK office later to do their work?

    Regardless of opinion on him, he’s right. There isn’t a level playing field. Not even close.

    The man deserves full credit for what he has said , I know he is not popular amongst the BBS faithful, but sometimes you have to take a step back & judge each thing he does on its merits & he has touched on a few home truths , most which everyone will agree with but no one has had the b---s to publicly state , lets hope it prompts a few more of the EFL chairmen to back him up & strive for change , well said Mr Conway

    If they were granted a work permit.

    But seeing as the numerous clubs they "own" aren't one company, they are all separate entities with different owners (probably all with separate opaque ownership structures in HK), the comparison doesn't relate to Con.

    Cheers, I knew about the different ownerships wasn’t sure if the employee still needed a permit or not,in the example I gave, thought they would but wasn’t sure.
    When we used to go work on cruise ships or hotels around the world(Cruise ships are different TBF) we didn’t need permits, but perhaps that was different as it was only for couple of weeks at a time.

    They could likely move players around in the EU zone as they have freedom of movement, but the UK setup is due to be much more strict. I'm not sure if there were guidelines laid out a week or two ago or if it was just a suggestion of what might happen. But it seemed to suggest it would be harder to buy young players from continent and much larger quotas of Uk based players. But as i say not sure if that is finalised, a proposal, or just an opinon piece.

    What came out last recently was a proposal. The Govt asked FA, PL &EFL to put a proposal together but they can’t agree

    So a points based system that seems to favour expensive players from known clubs who play internationals and have lots of games.

    That probably doesn't help us with some of the younger targets from places with cheaper transfer fees. Though considering our pretty poor record with austrian players that might not be a bad thing.

    Noted in the players documents, an exception panel with cost the potential buying club £5k plus vat for each sitting.
