I guess you're talking about those on zero hours etc. I certainly appreciate that a lot of people don't have the luxury of sick pay.
Can't see it happening across the board sadly and the lowest paid will be the ones who are left behind, and of course the most likely not to be able to afford time off.
One of the reasons fly tipping spiked over the summer was down to the fact they shut the ******* tips.
7 Not so sure on that one. Can never understand driving to a beauty spot and dumping a mattress, just go to the tip!
Of course. Still no excuse for it though. They could just have left the old fridge somewhere (garden, garage etc) till such time as the tips reopened.
Closing the tips is a reason for an increase but it's no excuse because there is no excuse. Lad at work kept a broken fridge in his bedroom for a few months because the tip was closed. If he can do it why can't others?
Not for all of it. And there was plenty of fly tipping either side of it. Not an excuse, I hired a skip
Agreed but is has to be state funded. SSP is paid by the employer and for small businesses it can be crippling when you also take into account the additional cost of replacement staff.
I’ve got a 10yd skip sat on my drive full of fencing and rubble and cr4p that I’ve had piled up in my back garden over lockdown. But yeah, fly tipping.
Wearing masks in a supermarket has been a godsend for me. Its astonishing how many rude and ignorant customers i have been able to mouth 'fvck off you ignorant tw*t' to and not get caught once
