Do you get the injection in your arm or in your Coriolanus?

It's a good point that. Planes would be my choice. I remember catching a flight from Dubai to Mauritius. The amount of coughing with no attempt to cough into hand or tissue was alarming. Sure enough my ex caught something that put a real downer on her hoiday and I got it a week or so later that stuck with me for months.
I used to look a bit disdainfully at Japanese people wearing masks pre pandemic. More fool me.

The main reason they wear them in Japan is for hayfever.

They did until this year still have seasonal flu spikes like everywhere else.

Also if you go into a bar youll not see any social distancing. Its exactly the same as it was pre pandemic.

One thing that doesnt get mentioned either is that there is now mask addiction...

Masks are a gateway drug to gimp suits.

Are they only doing vaccinations at one hospital with one needle or something? If it's as important as we are all told and the saviour that we're all told then shouldn't the aim be to vaccinate as quickly as possibly as many elderly people as possible? Not to pause and wait for the world's media. The problem is that Boris and his cronies care more about sound bites and photo opportunities than they do about doing the right thing.

I wouldn't count on the majority taking things the way you suggest. I've certainly seen no great improvement in human behaviour over the last 10 months or so; People are still fly-tipping fridges and gas cookers down lovely country lanes, idiots are still driving too fast (even more so when the roads were quiet in april/may) and as demonstrated by Miwaw "fans" the other day, some people are still racists.

Hopefully employers might not take such a dim view of absence due to colds an flu.

I suspect you are correct. There will be a few sensible people who will eventually get ground down by the majority of careless self servers and ultimately hardly anyone will wear a mask. Hope I'm wrong but I don't think I will be

The problem is that even if they didn't there are many people who simply can't afford to have time off work for illness

The problem there though is that you will get many people actually taking the piss because it essentially would become extra paid holidays. The question is which is the better option?

I wonder how much it would cost to offer free flu vaccinations to the entire population instead of paying sick pay?
