- they are very good. - our lack of Striking options has been exposed ....again. - Mads needs a rest. - we need to get over this quickly because if we think Wycombe will lie down and roll over, then we’ll get a big shock.
Losing to a quality side and there's no shame in that though we have unfortunately been the architects of our own downfall and I would have liked Bournemouth to have worked harder for the victory. Out of interest, do you think he's left Woodrow on as punishment for that second goal?
I agree. he should have a starting 11 worth £111 million. we’ve played okay today (obviously made mistakes) but we’ve had a good go after a tough game on Tuesday. Obviously tonight is disappointing but we’ve played okay in my opinion.
I suspect Matty James will be back at Leicester at the end of the month. Sad waste of the one player that would have been on a par with the opposition tonight.
These yellow cards at the back are starting to add up. We can afford midfield suspensions to a degree but not at the back.
The issue with us (based on budget) is quality in this league and I think that finesse/pace they have compared to us has been the deciding factor tonight. Along with the individual errors that we have made, which is always likely to come with young (cheap) players! If we were playing poor I’d be more worried!
Brittain has had a good game, Mowatt too. Frieser has looked decent and Palmer must be close to a start.
He’s our best, and possibly only defensive midfielder, and we’ve been carved open on the break all game. We might not have won, but if he’s fit, he would’ve made a massive difference today.
Im not sure he has been fully fit. I think if he was going to be here for the full season, it is worth persevering.
