We all know the sketch with what's going on with footy attendance and crowds etc. But I listened to Eddie Hearn on Talksport yesterday. He's promoting next month's darts at the Ally Pally. * RULES 4 to a table Got to be in a 'bubble' 1000 maximum attendance No T3 residents can attend No fancy dress (cos Scooby Doo could catch it) Table service only No chanting or standing I get all that......... (Apart from Scooby Doo)........ Here's the BIG BUT Drinks served, no 'substancial' meal required, no limit on alcohol amounts served, The pub trade is dieing on its aarrssee. How has he managed to pull that one off I wonder. It's farcical.
Different discussion. Snooker, Curling, Archery, Golf., Shooting ...... No physical exursion but hitting a target.
I'd like you to try hitting a golf ball over 300 yards and then tell me there's no physical exertion. You might change your mind.
Quite. I'm knackered after a couple of games at the Club on a Thursday night. I did less walking when i did the Coast to Coast.
Indeed mate. I play crown green bowls twice a week, doing that for a few hours is quite good exercise
Tomorrow in theory I can go watch York City. Go to the ground and get absolutely spanked on ale and not have to buy a substantial meal. Afterwards I can go to the cinema and get even more spanked and not one chip has passed my lips. I want a pint in the Golden Fleece, I need to order a meal.
