....if asked me to pay in US dollars. Went out and back in and it then asked or Canadian dollars. What the heck is going on? Trying a reboot see if that works
No I don't use that. I am in Spain though but I have managed to watch every match so far, from the end of Oct, without a problem
The reboot is done and it is asking for dollars again. Now what happens if I accept that? Will I pay a premium amount on my card to account for exchange rates and using a UK card overseas? That would be a nonsense because it has worked fine up to now
I'm on the point of giving up on this, so the club lose my £10 today. I can get free Sky Sports news on my PC so that will have to do with me on edge every time Jeff says "back to Ewood Park where there has been another goal...."
Isn’t it cheaper being overseas as it were? About half price allowing for the exchange rate. Suspect that whatever card charges you may have will be more than saved? How many dollars is it quoting you?
Wey hey, I'm in. 14th attempt I finally got an English pounds quote of £7 for the match. Bargain, £3 less than last time I paid for an away game! It's on. Watch us get hammered now
It was 10 something USD and I think 14 CaD. All irrelevant now.. It's taken £7 off me and I'm in, finally.
14CaD is just over a fiver. Sure you wouldn't have been any worse off. I have used that route via VPN a few times for Sat games that couldn't be shown in the UK.
I was surprised to see those currencies quoted though. Never happened before. I’d rather not use a UK card to pay in a foreign currency because there’s usually some fee to pay that bumps up the price.
