No. I've just always done it and the kids love the ensuing arguments as 2 of them can be quite sore losers!!
Just avoid games where there are communal pieces, cards etc. We've settled on five a side blow football.

Mr Cholmondley-Warner and his manservant Greyson probably came up with this marvellous and enlightening piece of sage advice with a glass of port in one hand and cigar in the other whilst standing next to the mantlepiece in front of the roaring fire. All this, after consuming a splendid four course meal* expertly prepared by his devoted wife, who was in kitchen washing up (since women are not really interested and don't understand such things). *In celebration after receiving the even more splendid news that he had been selected by the Conservative Association to be the Candidate at a 'safe Tory seat' in a forthcoming by-Election. He would be a perfect fit!!
