My 4th time now. Wife had a bit of a cough this morning, but later had a coughing fit at work and they sent her home to arrange a COVID test. All household isolating until at least her result is known. So frustrating but hopefully it turns out to be negative like the previous 3 results.
I hope your wife is given the all clear. Best wishes to her, your good self & the rest of the family, mate.
Thank you, very kind and best wishes to you and yours ( not even Xmas yet) she’s in good spirits just fingers crossed at the moment. Also have my 86 year-old dad ill in hospital (not COVID related) to add to the concerns and frustration.
Hope the tests come back negative and you are all fit and well soon TT. Just been looking on Sky News at the Covid exposure hotspots. Top three areas where you are likely to contract the virus are Supernarkets 18.3%, secondary schools 12.7% and junior schools 10.1%. Surprised that pub or bar is shown as being only 1.6%. https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19...navirus-in-england-latest-data-shows-12136418
Bit of a lottery really to nail it down. Wife and I work in the same building but on different floors, it’s funny and sometimes almost pathetic to listen Manager’s disclaiming the workplace as the source. We’ve already had outbreaks at work
Hope so for you too - good job my Mrs doesnt work in a touchy office - she has asthma and a permanent cough - just needs to change rooms sometimes to trigger a coughing fit - its hard for her at the minute as she is really self conscious if we are out somewhere and she starts coughing as everyone runs a mile
My youngest son suffered from asthma so I really do empathise with anyone who has symptoms. Really feel for your Mrs FR. She can't help the fact that airborne irritants are the likely cause of her bouts of coughing and she must feel self conscious with people's negative reactions.
Yes, I did a home test & was really easy & email / text came through in 24 hours from sticking it in a post box.
Result back, wife’s test is negative. Great we thought, Received a call from dad in hospital, he’s tested positive and because I was with him the hour or so before the ambulance came and took him to hospital, I’ve still got to self- isolate. Really worried and concerned for him now, but it is what it is I suppose.
