Why aren't people queuing at supermarkets and shopping in general

I'm glad they aren't but I don't get it. Went to Asda Barnsley this AM and it was packed.
Then I tried going to the range and they were queuing. Are supermarkets somehow exempt?
As I say I'm glad they as i would rather just go in. I drove away from range and have once again given my money to Amazon instead. I've spent £100s the last few weeks on Amazon that I would usually spend in shops.
Also was I'm town with my Dad last week and no toilets in the market and no toilets open at the time in Alhambra. This is a real issue for him due to his current health issues. We needed up walking all the way upto Morrisons. He wanted to try and support the market stalls. He now has said he won't return to the town centre while ever restrictions are in place. I certainly won't be standing in huge queues when I can have items delivered to my door the next day.
I really think shutting some shops but others staying open is just pushing more people into one place.

They don't queue at supermarkets because Boris has given them licence to do as they please without penalty.

No one likes having to provide toilets for the public, be it councils or private business. Any excuse and they close them down.

Was invited by Amazon over a week ago to sign up for access to Morrisons shopping. Got an immediate acknowledgment putting me on a waiting list.

    Still waiting.

I've just moved house so need all sorts of little things and I've been ordering loads. We have prime so it's often cheaper to just have it delivered anyway. In the current climate of having to queue up to get into a shop to even find out if they have what I want its winning hands down for me.
This morning I looked at the Range queue and thought I could be home in the time it takes to get in. Got home ordered and I'll have what I need tomorrow.
Hopefully the people in the queues are enough to keep these places going, because when I see a queue I just walk/drive past.

also a few tips if doing a big shop peter kay style ;-)
if something you ordered in the past isn't showing available, go to old order history & add it there, the missus loves pepsi ginger but hardly ever shows up now but always can add this way, and if a preferred time slot isn't available, just wait a bit, my slots today were 6pm-8pm & 8pm-10pm
now usually on a sunday this wouldn't be an issue but i'd only 5 or 6 lagers in fridge, jumped to & fro for 10mins and a 10-12 slot appeared otherwise i'd have to nip out to the offy ;-)
not 100% certain of this trick, but you can track the driver, sometimes he may go a long way around doing drops, but if i've added something frozen it usually comes early within the 2hr slot

I haven't a clue now, as I've found times at the supermarkets we use (Lidl and Tesco), where I virtually have the shop to myself.

Not seen it at a supermarket since April/May. But that seems to be because they are just letting everyone in.
