I know a few on here use stats websites - can anyone point me in the direction of the good ones?

Eldest daughter about to embark on her Maths degree Dissertation. The title hasn't been finalised yet but it is likely to be on something around the impact of non-attendance at football matches on results and betting markets.

Depends on what you want Fi, but some of the best ones:
    Soccerway (good for historical games)
TransferMarket (good for players and transfers)
    11v11 (good for historical games)
    xscores (live scores)
wikipedia (good for seasons stats, games but not goal times or teams)
flashscores (live scores, teams, stats, possession etc)
all the betting sites give stats (and odds obviously!) of some description - some are better than others

Let me know what in particular you're looking for and I'll try to give pointers where I can :)

Thanks, I imagine she will be doing some kind of maths analysis on pre covid games with crowds, and then games with no crowds, and working out how much home advantage has dwindled, and impacts on betting odds.

ok, you'll just need the sites with the scores on then, plus the betting sites for the odds

does she follow Simon Kuper? He does some great work. Also but I presume she’s already aware but the price of football podcast is good.
