And I'm happy when I take 500 per week ... less my business expenses.

I suspect the figure for Matty Janes is way off.

The Austrian lads havent done too bad for themselves..... Obviously we take it with a pinch of salt but the wages wasted there on players that aren't good enough or who don't make any sort of contribution is staggering.

I'm sure they cry themselves to sleep at night after reading all the negative comments on the BBS aswel.

What is the provenance of these figures?

I make no comments on the relative merits, but if anywhere near true they are all over the place.

    Seems like they've missed off Whitey's 20k a week.

Walton on £3,500 per week? He wasn’t even in the squad before lockdown.

Signed a new contract in the close season though.

Not convinced those figures are close to accurate though

He must have a good agent if he’s negotiated a £182k basic salary for a reserve goalkeeper who’s played most of his first team football in non-league.

That would be impressive in normal times, never mind during a period when club revenues have been decimated.

How many first team games had he played for Barnsley when he got this new contract?

He’s not our reserve keeper though is he, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the lowest paid first choice keeper in the championship

Can’t imagine them figures are accurate. Just for example both Walton & Palmer signed new contracts around the same time after a few impressive first team starts yet Walton’s supposedly on over four times as much? Doesn’t make any sense. Are we sure these aren’t just figures off FIFA or something or football manager?
