There was a rave in Wigan last night with over 300 people who then turned on the police as they were dispersed
there was something similar last night in an unused unit at goldthorpe, apart from the police never got wind of it or so I’ve seen on the socials.
The rave and free party scene was surprisingly strong when I lived down there. Warehouses, farmers fields... they'd pop up all over the place. Not that I condone them in these times. Brings back good memories though.
I bet it does! My raving took place in the second wave, around 1999-2003 (which was absolutely awesome, don't get me wrong!). But the grainy footage that exists of some of the warehouse parties that took place ten years before that looks incredible.
