    Start seeing government malice.

It's well known how many Tory mates made millions betting against the pound during the Brexit campaign. These parasites haven't gone away, they're deep in the Tory establishment - many being personal mates of Johnson and/or Cummings.

Most of us here could have done a better job at slowing the spread and propping up the economy than Johnson has. He had access to the best scientists in the country and simply ignored them.

I reckon there are a lot of very wealthy people with a lot of money gambled against the pound. The more this country struggles, the more money they make.

Now imagine the effect on the pound after a monumental COVID disaster *and* a catastrophic no-deal Brexit. It's going to go through the floor, and that's going to make a lot of Tories and Tory backers even more stupendously rich. No deal Brexit was already going to profit these people, but now they have the fresh excuse of a global pandemic to get away with even further, and they know the media will cover for them and tell us all how "it was out of their hands".

They are getting richer. We are getting poorer. And we're dying. For their profits.

The problem is that Labour will still be arguing about whether Corbyn has been badly done to.

BJ might be a Pratt but you do know how many ordinary people wanted this new lockdown don’t you?

It's not about whether we did or didn't want the lockdown, it's the nature of the timing. He ignored his top scientists when they said we needed it earlier, and now the situation is much worse

No the Tory Media will be arguing that .
We’ve had the Tories infighting over EU , privatising the NHS for years , we’ve had the Lib Dem’s not fit to govern swapping their principles for Government limousines for a select few of their MPs But the main thin for some us to try and Brand Corbin as anti Semitic and a brief research into his background tells them he most definitely isn’t .
Seems the Tories can get away with Islamophobia with their NAZI press .

When they go low, we go high. When we argue about the merits and attitudes of a past failed leader we distract from the way forward.

Johnson doesn't make the key decisions, the Tory grandees and their parasite hangers on do.
He's just a puppet who is told by Cummings, Brady and a host of faceless power brokers
in their grey suits, exactly what he must and mustn't do and say.

Yeah but what about Corbin ‍♂️ That argument wasn’t relevant at the beginning it’s not relevant now and I couldn’t stand him.

    Mmmmm......

Do you think that your pension fund manager is so stupid as to not follow the market trend? If he didn't he'd be out of a job and bankrupt.

Do you think that wealthy people gamble their money?

Do you not think that every time there is a market move, there are others wanting to make a buck too?

If it's a great idea to gamble against the pound, we could all do it. Or those with our invested money could do it

And they will. It's their job.

A Tory faction deliberately tanking the pound isn't made okay by others with a pension being able to also cash in.
    Regularly
Same as first point, malice & negligence isn't forgiven because some others in the market also capitalise
A lot of us have no savings or pension, so while some may benefit (And the Tories benefit hugely) we'll be stiffed with no benefit

Well if you have no interest in the market, your benefits due are determined completely by the state. So nothing to worry about. Unless the triple lock disappears...

I'm afraid that the market is always well ahead of your "Tory Faction"

People don't get rich by gambling.

It is in nobody's interests for the economy to tank.

I am a small business hoping to survive. Are you?

You’re confusing gambling on a game with rigging the game.

The OP is a suggestion that people are betting against the £ and then having their mates tank the economy on purpose.

Your post was simply a defence of betting against the £ if it makes financial sense todo so.

BTW I’m not saying I agree w the OP; though Farage’s behaviour on Brexit morning is suspicious.

I usually start lighthearted entertainment with Laura by scratching my genetalia and saying, "smell my ****". Laura usually gags and chases me round the bedroom grabbing my manhood and making me wish I'd not been so giddy.

My point is don't be distracted by a pair of sweaty bollax when there's clearly more going on.

Apologies to Marlon, Colliers and co.

We have. Past failed leader in number ten now but we don’t get the scrutiny . Remember little picaninis and letter box faces etc etc etc etc .
Scrutiny is in the hands of the media and the media have it on for Labour till it moulds int their way of thinking .

In that game, for every winner there's a loser.

You will never prove, and probably because it hasn't happened, that the economy has been tanked on purpose.

There are too many smart operators with their eyes on these things.

There are always margins to work on.

Not that here should be. Summats wrong with us having a random system like that.

No need to apologise to me I’m not swayed by what the editors decide is what should be in the news . I’m as much disgusted with anti Semitism as i am with islamiphobia it’s just that I’m not directed like some seem to be .
