A couple of mates. On a Hoyland reds weekend outing to Southport. ( Wigan away) With their wives. Decided to do the Chilli challenge in one of the pubs. I met em just as we were going out in the hotel foyer ( them going back to their rooms) . About 8pm. They had to wear disposable gloves. 1 jacked in after the first bite. Other silly bugger went all in. Badly for the rest of the weekend. Won the shirt mind. :):)

Meat and potato or steak? I fancy pie and beans now but I've already put pork chops and chips in which feels very underwhelming all of a sudden

Steak. The steak and ale 'The Best' ones from Morrisons are really nice too but this was plain old Pukka. Duck and pancakes with hoisin sauce and spring onion for me tonight.

I do love duck and pancakes too. Is that the Morrisons one too?

And I think pukka pies are vastly overrated and people just buy them for the name. Wright's make a cracking pie and I haven't had them for a while but Holland's were quite good too

This one is from Farmfoods, not had it before. The Morrisons one is nice but small. We went Pukka this time as Farmfoods has them on a great offer and we wanted other stuff from there anyway.

To be fair, this was a real one off for me. I’ve eaten badly in my life and at one point I was definitely in the obese category, but I’m at a decent, healthy weight now, which I’m actually quite proud of.
