    Plans have been submitted for another Drive Thru off Dearne Valley Parkway on the plot of land next to Dearne Valley Farm.

    The one at Stairfoot, since it reopened, has had constant queues out of the car park. It's no wonder another one is opening.

    Never understood the appeal myself. Don't mind a double cheeseburger or 20 nuggets when I've had a skin full, but I wouldn't choose it as one of my 3 meals a day.

    Me too. I usually have the big mac meal large with a double cheeseburger on the side with the twenty nuggets.

    When I was hungover the other week I got a Big Mac meal, 20 nuggets, wrap of the day, a chicken Mayo, nacho cheese bites and a triple cheeseburger. Hated myself after.

    Not something I would ever normally do. I couldn’t quite believe it myself.

    I am a big fan of watching competitive eating though and maybe subconsciously I wanted to see if I could measure up to the mental Americans that do the contests.

    If you ever get the chance and are in either Headingley or Harrogate, try I Am Doner. Best kebabs I’ve ever eaten, made by a former Michelin starred chef. They aren’t as dickish as they sound.

    I do the same when I go to pubs that sell the supersized mixed grills. I think what the heck for the extra couple of quid I'll give it a try.

    There’s a fair few of those super size meal challenges in Leeds, going to give some a try in the coming weeks. Some of them you get the meal free for finishing. You could say it is worth it but I will probably spend the price of the meal on Rennies afterwards.

    If anything I would’ve thought they’d be more bothered about one on the other side of town to better serve Mapplewell, Staincross etc. Or even one near Dodworth. Just surprised me when I saw the plans. I hoped it would be a Burger King!

    I have to admit that is one my specialities! The waiter/waitresses face is always a picture when they put it down in front of Will and he passes it to me. Absolutely love a mixed grill.
