Try Facebook marketplace, gumtree and shpok as free alternatives.

sometimes it’s worth paying fees as eBay has a wide audience, look for incentives such as 1p listing and capped final value fees.

I've got loads of old crap on there at the moment (one man's rubbish is another man's treasure etc) and I don't pay for listings. It's old magazines mainly though and the odd old computer bit. Just be careful as you're going through as some things are chargeable but it does warn you at the end. Also beware of the double dip in that paypal (owned by Ebay I believe) also take commission on the final amount taken.

There’s a £1 maximum selling fee active at the moment.

I wish I had some to give. The magazines I have up are from my teenage years (nothing dirty), just the odd FHM.

The Razzle should always be hidden in your pocket.

As others have said, no it's not free. Also worth knowing that if you are paid for a sold item via PayPal, they will charge you as well.

I don't know if you remember when we bought the huge Cryne/Preedy flag, it was me that setup the crowdfunding for it. I didn't realise it till it was too late but Crowdfunder took a cut of the cash we raised and Paypal took some more (everyone paid by PayPal) - I think it was about 10% in total.
