So many questions.... Two vaccines 28 days apart but then done forever? Topped up annually as part of the flu vaccine? How many need it to get shut of restrictions? How long will it take to get to that point?

Cov-19 is similar Coronavirus to SARS - they went back and checked the antibodies of people who had SARS and 10 years later they still had immunity - unlike flu, coronavirus doesn't mutate as quickly, chances are if you get it or you get a vaccine, you'll be good for years.

Fingers crossed then. Hopefully we aren't too many months away from normality. What we don't want is a situation like what America are being told to expect of the vaccine not meaning a end to restrictions for a fair while, but I expect it's different there because it's far more vast......

What is this 1000 moves a day? I've never heard of it before. What is classed as a "move" in this new monitoring system?

At least they’re realistic. I think all this ‘we’ll be fine by Christmas’ ****** from Johnson creates a sense of false optimism.

I don't understand your position on this stuff - is a vaccine a good thing or part of an insidious illuminati plot? You seem to switch between both viewpoints every few posts

I got a bit addicted to them at one point. They’re still not that accurate but are a good indicator. I think like just weight scales you should try and get on them at the same time each time and wear the same clothes. It’s depressing that women’s is naturally higher than men’s, I know why but it was a shock to the system the first time when my husband did his and then I did mine straight after! Even knowing the theory behind it I still felt a bit upset seeing it written down on paper that I had more body fat than him. The level they class as ‘excellent’, ‘good’, etc. changes by age too. I remember turning 30 and the printed guide on the receipt changing. You were robbed at £1.50 though, it’s £1 round here.

I think it depends on what the last thing he just read says. He seems to put a lot of stock into and be easily swayed by articles. Unfortunately, those articles tend to be in the Mail or Express.

I am very much pro vaccine. I trust the scientists and never had any affects from jabs I have had before. All the talk of Certificate Of Vacination ID I believe to be ******, although having the jab to be allowed in to another country doesn't seem far fetched as you have to now for some places. All the Bill Gates stuff about the vaccine changing your DNA to make you more compliant and make women sterile to slow down the ever growing world population is bonkers. WEF saying four years ago "You'll own nothing, and you'll be happy" is rather provocative though. They are quite spot on with some of their points. USA aren't the major power, only a few countries seem to have most of the power and even meat not being a staple of diets is gradually going that way.

    Every fortnight is enough.

It gives me everything for 1.50.

I used to go every weekend for around a year and a half. The printouts are still stuck to the side of my fridge in a pile.

Edit: turns out I’ve not been for a while! I guess the price may have gone up.

We're in very odd times. If you'd asked me a year ago about vaccines (I know you haven't asked me, I'm just sticking my beak in) I would have been spitting feathers about anti-vaxxers. We're about use the nation's NHS staff as guinea pigs for a vaccine about which the long term safety and health implications we cannot possibly know. It will be mandatory. You don't have it, you can't work.

When are we going stop? When are we going to say, "erm, just hang on a minute, this isn't right." For me it was 7 months ago when it became abundantly clear that the measures that were being introduced to tackle Covid would result in more deaths, more ill health, more poverty and more misery than the virus itself. That will soon be undeniable. What will be everyone else's breaking point?

How does it know what % fat you are? Just interested, it's technology I have no idea about.

You hold on to the handles and it sends an electrical current through you and measures the resistance.

Next time you’re in Boots, give it a go. It makes me reminiscent of those fortune telling machines that you get at the seaside but far more useful. It measures height first, then weight, then says if you want it to do your body fat to put in your sex and age and then hold on to the handles. Takes about a minute in all and then you get a nice little printout.

How many different sexes are there to choose from? With it being a scientific or mathematical system that's used I'd have thought it would have to be male or female as body fat doesn't care what you like to identify with but at the same time it would be surprising if nobody has kicked up a fuss about their right to choose
