    Form the government website

    • you should try to avoid travelling outside the very high alert level area you are in or entering a very high alert level area, other than for things like work, education or youth services, to meet caring responsibilities or if you are travelling through as part of a longer journey
    • you should avoid staying overnight in another part of the UK if you are resident in a very high alert level area, or avoid staying overnight in a very high alert level area if you are resident elsewhere
As usual that sounds very vague. So does that mean you can if you really want to? Shouldn't it say "you must not" instead of "try"

I live in a tier 3 area but work in a tier 2 area. Does that mean I can't go Greggs at dinnertime?

No because then it's your own fault not the governments for not having the infrastructure to police it properly after 10 years of cuts.

I couldn't resist the lure of the pie. In the thread about Covid I asked if pie n' peas was a substantial meal?

I was struggling to think of anything else I'd do on my dinner?

    I think his motto is:
If it ain't pie, it ain't food. :)

Plan your meals for the week.
Make a list of your top ten pies.

Joking aside. Am I breaking regulations going anywhere other than work, the bus or railway stations?

Depends if you can prove you tried to avoid them but couldn't?

I'm being serious now. I have a banana before I go to bed, helps me sleep. It harks back to when I worked on shift, and I used to have 2 bananas (ha ha) before I went to bed after a night shift for my "breakfast" :)

I don't like Banana's. I don't like the feel of them or the texture.

Really mate. Full of lovely potassium, aids the digestion and like I say helps me sleep

I need more sleep definitely. Is there anything else other than banana's that contains potassium?

Most green vegetables, and (I think) dried fruit and some nuts
