    You could have said that about Styles before lockdown, sometimes players just need to be given a fair chance to feel part of the team and show what they can or can't do.
    I'd have Green on the bench for his pace.

    If you're policy is to sign players to develop then at least give em chance to do it.
    Instant impact players cost more than what we want to pay unfortunately.

    He's been here nearly two years so had plenty of time to impress. He's 25 now so by our standards he's old so I think we'd cut our loses if we could, but no side will offer him in the current market whatever we are paying him, so I expect him to sit out the season.

    I wouldn’t bother if they are going to keep sending him back for every little knock he is likely to get over the season. I know things are tight for every club but they need to be prepared to take on some responsibility

    I thought Southend had faced numerous winding up orders the last few years and seem to be in freefall in the league. I suspect they took Green on a heavily subsidised loan and when it became clear that fans won't be allowed into grounds anytime soon, they saw the injury as a good opportunity to send him back and reduce costs slightly.
