Deep down, really deep down as a bit of an optimist you think hey we may be ok this season. Most clubs feeling the pinch, admin possibly looming for some teams, points deductions etc etc .... we have a squad who have played together for 12 months, with vital experience at this level. But.....BUT we forget the x factor, the very factor that we hope will never rear its ugly head because in our hearts we know , as a squad we are potentially better than last time out. Then the inevitable happens, our coach leaves and a minimum of our 3 best players leave (for a profit) and despite all the warnings and previous history we sign un tried inexperienced young uns as replacements. Its why we will stuggle every season at this level and que yet another relegation scrap. The only "suprise" is that i thought our owners had learned ..........
We did indeed. Redfearn penalty sealed the 3 points, the date was 21 Sep 1996. Coincidentally we beat them 1-0 the season before, the scorer was Andy Payton I think
I always feel I've cursed them if I bet for and just couldn't bet against them so the bookies aren't getting my money!!
Perfectly understandable if the person thinks their team is utter crap. Why not try and make a few bob out of the crapness? Doesn't mean you don't love your team, just means you're putting your money where your head says
BFC just another bet on a betting slip , not for me . If we do go down you’ll be able brag how clever you were to bet on it , .... it’s sickening
Way things are with Covid it's vital we put some points on the board soon. If the season is suspended i'd rather be outside the relegation zone when people start shaking hands.
