No not the one at jokewell, the film/documentary on netflix. Essential viewing for the human race i reckon to see what is happening and playing out before our eyes with AI etc. Explains a lot of what is happening and going wrong with our world at the mo. Give it a watch if you aint seen it if only to be aware.
I just can't watch it. Just don't get how people can be so influenced by some of the rubbish that is put on there, I'd end up shouting at the TV through most of it and it would stress me out. It is what is wrong with the world and unfortunately the younger generation of today are the ones that get drawn into it
Facebook fact checked a lot of that documentary. I haven’t watched it yet, but I always resist when they don’t interview people who might have a different opinion to the ‘storyline’.
Thats half the thing - most people dont even realise they are having their perception, values and beliefs slowly changed by these ai algorithms. its not just about addiction to the ohone and the notifications but they are part of the triggers trying to grab your attention. Worth watching so folk are not ignorant of the monster that has been created here.
Having watched it I don't think that it has a particular agenda. From your posts on here I get the sense that you really want to support Trump but can't bring yourself to admit it in clear terms.
A lot of it is based on interviews with ex employees who who key players in companies such as twitter, google, facebook etc. And a lot left owing to ethical issues.
That’s a massive assumption. Not sure why you’ve decided to even make that comment o be honest? False anyway. Consider myself firmly in the middle finding fault with both sides. I just know plenty of Americans so I’m a bit closer to it than some. I read an article two days ago with a Facebook statement regarding the film. That was all.
Your post history is there for all to see. I may have read it wrong (and apologies if so) but to me your postings have read along the lines of someone who wishes to support Trump without explicitly saying so.
I’m saying though what relevance does that have? Confused as to why you’d suddenly mention it in this thread that’s all. Of course I’m aware my posts are there to see. Nothing to hide otherwise I wouldn’t post.
Because you referred to the "storyline" when the overarching theme of the documentary is the fact that Facebook has essentially been co-opted to support the Trump campaign.
I also said I hadn’t seen it. My point wasn’t really in reference to anything political. Only one of their six fact checking responses was around politics/elections, so I didn’t realise that was the main crux of the documentary. Just thought it was worth mentioning for anyone who had seen it or planning to see it. To obviously then form an opinion on what they think of what Facebook have said.
In hindsight I should have dug this out in the first reply. https://www.socialmediatoday.com/ne...claims-made-in-netflix-documentary-th/586351/
Its not just facebook. Youtube is a classic in showing videos that drive you towards something. Ive often said youtube knows me better than i know myself
