Watched the game with a couple of Boro fans - decent sorts. They were bemoaning their own side - hadn’t won a home game in 11. Now I know as a fan you have to take a bit of ‘banter’. Give a little stick, take a little. But that really was too much. They were pi$$ing themselves at how bad we were. Worse than that, at the end they were over sympathetic. They know they are shi*e but we are truly something else. Stupidly I’ve taken a bet that we will still be above Wednesday in 3 games time. Ever the optimist. I’ve said it before, we are going nowhere with this gang in charge. And Struber can no longer point to his crying at Brentford as a compensation for some bizarre team selections.

I think you will be fine that needs the Fowls to win 2 and draw 1 of the next 3 to get above us on goal difference - as they only got 5 points from the first 4 games I think 7 from the next three is a big ask And thats even without our new manager bounce after the international break - they will be past us by the end of November though
