The club has said that managers are identified that fit the system of playing - which means, the club already knows which managers can smoothly fit in to the vacancy if the current manager leaves.

People posting that if Gerhard leaves then a new manager will want their own players.

These managers and players take time and effort to identify.
I would be very surprised if they are well known names.

Seriously Nudge. No issue with the rest of your response. But the above was totally unnecessary. I understood pompeys response saying what was in his head. I also expected your response. We all think that sometimes when we’re posting. It’s called exasperation. It doesn’t do you any favours. Some of the vitriol between some posters is a joke.
I on many occasion feel exasperated with ST eg. As does he with me I assume. But I would have a drink with the guy anytime. We still treat each other with respect.
I have been insulted and abused on many occasions. Responding in like, goes nowhere. Ive indeed then ended up in a civil conversation by not reacting. To the insults. Believe me. It does actually work. It’s not always easy. But one thing about this type of media instead of face to face reactions. You have time to reflect on your response. Before replying.
