Right firstly, at NO time have I said it led to more racism, if we are going to discuss feel free to at least read the words, I clearly said Could. Secondly, I at no time have defended racism, what I’ve said is the more people talk about things like one rule for and cite an example(they believe ) in the more airtime it gets. You seem to be failing to understand that not having the subject to talk about means it’s not talked about! I can’t answer your question about Jersey as I know nothing about it. Lastly, I see you failed to answer the real simple question I asked? It only needs a yes or no answer?
Firstly, sorry for misquoting you. Secondly, if you can't provide links to these 'organisations' then that's fine. Thirdly, the only reason it does add 'fuel to the fire' is when the fire already exists - I.e when someone is already racist. I suppose the answer you are looking for is yes, it does cause racism. But only when someone is racist in the first place. The language you use though basically implies that you are giving people an excuse to be racist
I just don’t get the 1 rule for them. For who. ? If it’s 1 rule for the BAME. Then nowt could possibly be construed as anything other than the police didn’t do their jobs. If you’re looking at it differently. Then I can’t help that. But I certainly don’t think it’s one rule for them and a different one for the rest of us. It deplorable what the police did. To turn a blind eye. I’d have sacked anyone involved. Edit I understand the way you try to put it over. And am not accusing you personally of anything. But anyone who actually think it’s one rule for them in these circumstances is a sandwich short of a picnic. And there’s plenty of them around. I honestly don’t put you in that bracket. I see it as you see others may see it.
Nail. On. Head. Responsible for far more trouble and division than any of the manufactured offences they so endlessly pursue.
Male bonding usually involves derogatory comments ( taking the p*ss) often when something infortunate has befallen the victim. It Is what blokes.do. Women tend to empathise, gather round and be supportive. In some instances women overhear some of the men 'extracting the urine' and takes offence even when the target Is not offended in the slightest and gives as good as he got.
What I mean is just because 1 black person doesn't mind you calling them the n word doesn't stop it being derogatory.
Sounds like Spains favourite economic migrant, Tommeh - who is very vocal about Muslims, but very quiet about his (ex-)colleagues in the EDL when it comes to their noncing.
No, I was saying that when people make decisions not to prosecute because of fear of accusations of racism it allows people to use that as a reason to stir up more hatred, which then defeats the whole original point. Another poster, posted this on a different thread some months ago, which for me sums up my point “If Yaxley-Lennon and his like are given a voice for too long, we are in a lot of trouble. All he is doing is dividing our communities, creating more ill feeling and it will inevitably lead to further violence, segregated towns and cities and streets I don’t want my kids anywhere near. “
The anti-racists are worse than the racists? *checks post history* Ah, a Trump supporter. Makes sense now.
True mate his anger should have gone towards the police and not the communities. Although those that were in the know should also hang their heads in shame.
Wasnt the N word I mentioned but I get your point, I have often wondered though why many black men refer to other black men as the N word, I'll ask my neighbour.
It’s definitely the PC brigade at fault... it’s not like there’s thousands of complaints about a Diversity dance routine or anything daft like that.
Bliar Brown Sir Ikea was head of public prosecutions at one point. From memory about half the UK police forces arw implicated. Going to need a bigger prison.
You’re right it shouldn’t be one rule (and I’m not saying it is). I was saying it allows certain types of people to use it to stir things.
Were Blair and Brown aware. ? Genuine question. All what comes from the bottom sometimes never reaches that far. You have to start at the top. With those making the decisions. Not the poor old bobby on the beat. Who is ignored.
Absolutely different, That’s criticism not censorship. Check out Mary Whitehouse if you never heard of her. A mad woman telling us what we can and can’t watch. Launching a campaign against the BBC and other media.
