My neighbour who is in the Royal Navy and from St Vincent tore me a new arse hole only about 2 weeks ago, we were talking about the BLM and other issues going on in the world and in the conversation I said " mixed race" his eye brows raised and said ( in good humour)" aey white boy its half cast, the only people who don't like this term for whatever reason is white people, its half cast, we call it half cast and it ain't a problem" he says the world in some respects as gone bonkers and when at work he refers to one of his mates as chalkey and him Blacky, for the sole reason to watch some people implode. Obviously this is his outlook on it all and he ain't speaking for everyone, but I am more inclined to listen to what he as to say being black himself to someone else,

Didn’t refuse to prosecute. They wouldn’t even investigate. Orders from the top. Did you not read the report. This could have been nipped in the bud years ago. It doesn’t feed the one rule for them brigade. It highlights an issue with the police.

No I’ve not read the report TBH. You may be right about the Police but seeing as I’ve not read the report, I can’t comment either way.
I don’t think you misread my post as I do believe examples like you made adds fuel the fire to the one rule for them.

It's ridiculous. With regards to the specific cases mentioned in this thread, the first thing that comes to mind is that the poor girls involved should have gotten justice sooner than they did, but I'm glad that this eventually happened.

My immediate thought isn't to suddenly decide that it's one rule for Asian gangs so I'm going to firebomb my local mosque.

Its absurd.

I absolutely am. You're making the point that because prosecutions weren't immediate it led to more racism. That's what you're saying.

You're basically giving people an excuse to be racist. You're letting them off.

Also, could you give me a link to these 'organisations' who commented about it being one rule for one and one for the other? What kind of organisations are they? Did they also make these comments regarding the Catholic Priests in Jersey, who's systematic sexual offences carried on for years longer than they should have?
