Not sure but all this changing of manager couldn’t have happened at a worse time when all our focus should be on getting 2/3 players through the door. No stress remember.

How many deals have supposed to have fallen through? Thought there was only Kulenovic, while others like Dykes etc... have never even got as far as talking to the player.

That said, none of this is helping. Signings will be a struggle while this is going on. Struber needs to commit for the season, or go.

It’s more likely that the players’ agents got wind of another club willing to pay higher wages.

I remember Neil Redfearn going to Charlton just before the start of the season after we came down from the premier & then a week before the season was due to start Danny upsticks & moved to Swillsboro , that meant we went into the new season minus our captain & manager .

Kulenovic was reported as wanting to make it at his current club, so if we were in for a permanent deal, can see why he would prefer a loan.

Who else has gone on loan somewhere that we have missed out on?

You can't count time by managers at Oakwell, we've had three since I last had a sh*t.

I counted all the players we signed/sold/released since I first walked into the job the other day, out of interest.

49 new signings in my time. I didn't count U23s signings like Jake Charles or Julio Rodriguez etc otherwise it'd be closer to 100. So the next signing is my half century! Hope he's a good 'un. My first? Adam Jackson. What a bloke.

48 players sold/released in my time.

    Most ephemeral workplace ever.

Players who'd played at second tier level in England or above?

    12 I think.

But quite a few were signed from top level in their respective country such as Bambo, Knasmullner, Ritzy, etc etc.

Also, all of the players who've been flogged for decent money since, they were lower leaguers.

There's no magical science to all this. The higher up we've signed folk the less impact they've had in my opinion. I personally prefer us signing unknowns.

Redders left because they wouldn’t match the wages of the highest paid at the time. ( forget who that was) Danny made statements about never unfulfilling a contract. Then uppedsticks. Wasn’t so much the fact he joined Wednesday. But those statements beforehand. That upset a few fans.

Danny only said yes to the piggys after getting reassured his captain wasn't getting sold then a week later whilst on the beach in mallorca he gets a call to say readers had been sold to charlton
When danny came back off holiday he then back tracked on his own agreement to remain at Oakwell or Grove street depending which side of the fence you stand lol
