What comes first - Chicken or Egg ???

    What’s comes first - a successful team ..... or ....... signing quality players ???

It’s a reyt conundrum arr tell thi.

One things for sure - no player wants to sign for a struggling team.
And IMO this is what’s happening right now.
We have been linked with a shed load of players - we need a few players - but we are struggling to sign them because the club is seen as a struggling club.

Only remedy to that is to Prime the Pump - and I mean Prime the Pump properly - so players are drawn to the club by a couple of quality signings.
Which means of course an outlay of money to get that pump pumping.

Egg would be better: I don't see how a whole chicken can fit through the nozzle.

@Young Nudger: please amend thread title to reference eels, and we might be better able to help you.

Your answer is right but reasoning is out.

we didn’t evolve from dinosaurs but fish lay eggs and fish were on the planet before land animals.

Or hes like the rest of the loan Sharks they were trying to get into bed with at Nice
Or hes just digging his eels in and waiting to sign billy the fish from viz
