Fact is though mate we weren't having ANY shots on target. Bloody tippy tappy - sideways - never forward. I'll need to check the fixtures but that September to December spell was awful, with the loss to Altrincham in the cup.

    0-2.
Lots of corners. Lots of possession. Lots of excuses.
I'm off to get my opinion in quick with Struber. If he wants to leave, just leave. Don't take the **** out of the fans and club saying you might.

We have better individuals than them easily. Its a matter of who's gonna score?

During that period, was the earliest I've ever left a match. I left the Fleetwood home defeat after 55 minutes. We were 2-1 down, had about 20 shots to their 2, and I hadn't slept in well over 24 hours and was severely jet lagged. I think we missed a chance early in the 2nd half, and I said 'right, I'm going to bed' and got the train back up to Leeds. I could see that we weren't going to score, no matter how much we huffed and puffed.

Right, I've had a look at the beginning of that season when Johnson started in 2015. Either one of us must have been asleep as I can't recall a game where we had 20 shots in a game at that period, lol ;)

I can't find the game you refer to as we lost 0.1 at Home to Fleetwood (24 October) and no games in that period were we 1.2 down after 55 minutes. Port Vale? maybe, 0.2 down after 55 minutes. Which was the first game my wife missed (14th November - I remember it because it was the eldest grandkids birthday - 2 at the time) as the previous 3 home games (Crewe 1.2, Walsall 0.2 & Fleetwood 0.1 defeats) we had barely mustered a shot on target. "I aint going to the game, can't watch that rubbish. Wanna go see grandkiddy - it's his birthday." She went to a couple more games that season and the Wembley games, but hasn't been since. So yeah, Johnson is the reason she stopped going, lol :)

It was the 1-0 Fleetwood, my own Google search let me down.

BBC stats say we only had 8 shots in that, it seemed more.

There was the Shrewsbury defeat just before that as well. We felt dominant in that game and lost in injury time. It was a frustrating period nonetheless.

Suspect today'll come down to the first 20 minutes-ish for us. Struber usually gets us out of the blocks sharpish but we then need to take the chances we get in that period and get in front.

Think I'm right in saying that Hecky was still the manager the last time we came from behind to win a league game, so if we don't get on top and they score first it's game over - we just don't have the pace, power or presence to break down an organised defence holding a lead.

(You watch - we'll go two down early on and come back to win 4-3 :D).

The shots on target start to find the back of the net.

We beat Blackpool 2-1 at home in the final home game of our 2018/19 promotion season. Blackpool went 1-0 up, Cauley Woodrow equalised before half time and Liam Lindsay headed in the winner from a Cameron McGeehan corner to seal the victory.

Just can't see where our next win is going to come from. 0-1, 88th minute, after huffing and puffing.

Well I'm still waiting for this footballing lesson we were meant to be getting from Coventry.

To be honest, they played much more attractive football than I'm used to seeing from a Mark Robins side, but still, they were nothing special.
